Tackett Offers His Analysis Of The Patterns

The four lane patterns being used this week at the U.S. Open were released Thursday just before the official practice sessions, and the general consensus is that the first pattern the players will face will prove especially difficult.

The first, second and third rounds of qualifying will be contested on a different pattern each day. A fourth pattern will be used for the fourth qualifying round, all rounds of match play and the stepladder finals. All rounds leading up to the stepladder will be broadcast LIVE on FloBowling.

Here's a look at the four patterns being used this week:

Pattern 1 (First round of qualifying)

Pattern 2 (Second round of qualifying)

Pattern 3 (Third round of qualifying)

Pattern 4 (Fourth round of qualifying, match play, stepladder)
