The finalists for the 2019 World Bowling Tour Finals were set last week after the 2018 World Bowling Men’s Championships wrapped up.

After a strong performance at the World Championships in Hong Kong, EJ Tackett moved into the top three in the World Bowling Tour points list to earn a spot in the men’s WBT Finals. The special made-for-television show will be taped Jan. 6 in Arlington, Texas, and broadcast on March 10 on FS1.

Tackett won the all-events gold medal at the World Championships and unseated Australia’s Jason Belmonte for the third spot in the WBT Finals. Belmonte did not compete in the World Championships.

Anthony Simonsen led the WBT points list and earned the top seed for the finals, while Stuart Williams earned the second seed.

The advancers to the women’s WBT Finals were previously determined and appearing on that show will be Danielle McEwan, Liz Johnson and Daria Pajak.

Competition points earned during 2018 determined the advancers to the WBT Finals.
