ALLEN PARK, Mich. – The championship round for the 2019 PBA Chameleon Championship is set with Jason Belmonte, Andres Gomez, AJ Chapman and Ronnie Russell prepared to battle for the title.

The finals will take place at 8 p.m. today live from Thunderbowl Lanes on FS1 for U.S. audiences and on FloBowling for international audiences. Each player survived two rounds of best-of-five matches Tuesday to advance to the show.

In the Round of 8 to determine who made the finals, Belmonte defeated Tim Pfeifer, 3-2; Gomez took down Norm Duke, 3-2; Chapman defeated Anthony Pepe, 3-1; and Russell advanced by defeating Rafiq Ismail, 3-1.

The format for tonight’s show is the same as it was for last night’s Cheetah Championship with the four finalists bowling a one-game seeding round to kick things off.

The highest score in the seeding round will be placed directly into the championship match as the No. 1 seed. The second highest score will be seeded into the semifinal, while the third and fourth scores will face in the first match.
