Bowl Expo has been canceled entirely due to coronavirus concerns, the Bowling Proprietors Association of America announced Friday afternoon.

The event was scheduled to take place from July 2-6 and BPAA previously announced it would go on with only the trade show canceled.

“Bowl Expo 2020 will not take place,” BPAA Executive Director Frank DeSocio wrote in a message posted on Facebook. “BPAA will continue to focus on helping our members through this time.”

The move comes as bowling centers across the country have been shut down amid the pandemic. Many centers have had their doors shut for weeks and will continue to remain closed for weeks to come.

Bowl Expo 2021 will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, from June 20-24. Here’s the message from BPAA:
