What's On FloBowling The Week Of April 6

The coronavirus pandemic may have shut down the sport of bowling across much of the country but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your favorite sport.

FloBowling is working hard to provide you with a mix of fresh and classic content to help you deal with cabin fever.

Monday, April 6

In our continuing series of slow motion release videos, we will show you the powerful games of Jason Belmonte and Tommy Jones. Last week, we brought you the slow motion releases of Danielle McEwan and AJ Johnson.

You’ll also be able to watch the second part of our top split conversions from the 2020 season so far. If you missed part 1, check it out.

Tuesday, April 7

Our rebroadcast of the second major of the 2019 season is on tap for Tuesday as we will show you all three match play rounds and the stepladder finals from the 2019 PBA Players Championship. Here’s the detailed schedule (all times Eastern):

12:24 p.m. - 2019 PBA Players Championship Match Play Round 2

Wednesday, April 8

Sean Rash will join FloBowling Senior Editor Lucas Wiseman to talk all things bowling. We’ll ask him how he’s staying busy, get his thoughts on the urethane tests and find out what he thinks about the PBA League Draft. Last week, we talked to Brad Miller.

Meanwhile, the legendary Parker Bohn III is Tim Burg’s guest on the FloBowling Podcast. Last week’s guest was Jakob Butturff.

Thursday, April 9

PBA Hall of Famer Johnny Petraglia will offer tips in this week’s Technique Thursday. Petraglia offers advice on improving your accuracy, how to properly put tape in the ball and how to analyze your game using video.

Friday, April 10

Last year, the 2019 PBA Indianapolis Open ended up being one of the feel-good stories of the year. We will let you relive the action with a rebroadcast of all three match play rounds plus the stepladder finals. Here’s the detailed schedule (all times Eastern):

Tom Clark, meanwhile, will reveal his ninth favorite show of the past decade in Part 2 of a 10-part series. You’ll also find out who the pros think is the best player on tour without a title.

Sunday, April 12

To close out the week, we are planning to bring you some of the best pin action we’ve seen so far in the 2020 season. We’ll also give you a look ahead at what’s coming up the following week.

SABC Mixed Doubles Will Be Held As Scheduled This Summer

The sport of bowling got some positive news Tuesday night when the PBA/PWBA Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles announced it will proceed with the 2020 event as scheduled.
