Coming in at No. 1 on PBA Commissioner Tom Clark's favorite shows of the past decade was Pete Weber's most famous moment.

This the 10th in a 10-part series by PBA Commissioner Tom Clark.

As PBA Commissioner, my greatest privilege has been having a front row seat to PBA history.

I've worked more than 250 PBA finals since 2008. One thing has been guaranteed: Our events and our players always deliver compelling drama. Every time.

But as last decade came to a close, I singled out my 10 most memorable shows from 2010-19, with some personal notes:

No. 1: 2012 U.S. Open, Carolier Lanes, North Brunswick, N.J.

Pete Weber's record fifth U.S. Open victory, passing his father Dick at age 49, punctuated by the best clutch shot I have ever seen and his now almost mythological, “Who do you think you are? I am!”

It was so great of a moment, they made an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary about it.

There was much to remember, from my perspective, about the whole day. But after the show, after I had given a kid in the crowd a signed Pete Weber bowling pin because the boy had been so scared of Pete's intensity he hid under his chair for the title match, I joined some colleagues for a post-show dinner at nearby Arthur's Steakhouse (where Del Ballard can show you a framed photo of him on the wall).

Mike Jakubowski, Jason Thomas and I were at our table talking about the show. Being on the TV set, in real time we hadn't heard the TV announcers or what Pete said after his winning strike.

So after we ordered dinner, I went on my phone to YouTube, and the show was already up. We listened, first taken by ESPN announcer Gary Thorne's classic, "Strike to claim it, a strike to claim it...and... He got it!" call.

Then, we listened to Pete's "Who do you think you are?" winning rant. Many times. Many, many times.

Apparently so were a lot of people around the world, as the YouTube video count of views soared. PDW was going viral.
